James McClurkin
IT Manager

James has been in Boston (this time) about 11 years after moving from Ohio. Prior to that, he lived in Ventura, CA and was in charge of new product development for Kinko's. While out there, he became friends with the members of Big Bad Voodoo Daddy and took up swing dancing.

Over time, he became more passionate about swing dancing and the music. He danced almost every night and became immersed in the "scene". He has taught with The Cambridge Center for Adult Education, Swing City, and a few other random places, and is also a founding organizer of Copley Square Swing Dance and Boston Swing Central.

Since being in Boston, he has worked for Arrowstreet Architects, Apple Computer, Pearson Education, social networking sites Gather Inc, and Hangout Industries, and now Powderhouse Productions.

His hobbies include photography, theatre, films and a strange affliction for leopard print.

Oh, and he can never have enough coffee...
