Luke Gasbarro
Manager of Development

In his current role as manager of development, Luke is responsible for the management of the development slate, brand strategies, budget and financial tracking functions as well as lead production support on all tape demos and RFPs. Luke first joined Powderhouse in 2008 as production manager where he worked on over 30 hours of cable programming for Animal Planet including MUST LOVE CATS, DOGS VS. CATS, AMERICA'S CUTEST DOG, SUPERFETCH, and two seasons of DOGS 101 and CATS 101. Prior to Powderhouse, Luke worked over two years with Handcranked Productions where he produced both animation and commercial spots for major cable networks such as The History Channel, Sundance Channel, Bravo, NESN, PBS, and Sesame Street Workshop. Aside from his professional work, Luke has collaborated on various projects with numerous Boston-based artists and filmmakers. His short film, GESTATE, has shown at festivals throughout the US including the Seattle Lesbian and Gay Film Festival and the Tampa International Gay and Lesbian Film Festival. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film/Animation/Video from Rhode Island School of Design (RISD).
